Research Topic: Approaching the Departure of the Mycenaeans: Settlements and Cemeteries in LH IIIC
Gwyneth Fletcher is a 4th year PhD student in Ancient History at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research focuses on ancient music and dance performance’s role in cross-cultural exchange and community formation in the Aegean and Near. Her dissertation is on ritual music and dance performance in Iron Age and Archaic Cyprus, investigating the evidence for performance practices across Cyprus in its archaeological contexts. Gwyneth has participated in archaeological projects in Cyprus, Italy, and the United States and is a supervisor at the Makounta-Voules Archaeological Project.
