Maria Papapaschou is pursuing a Master’s degree in Greek and Eastern Mediterranean of Archaeology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has participated in archaeological field projects in both Greece and Cyprus. For the past three years, she has been actively involved in the Lechaion Harbor and Settlement Land Project, in the northeastern Peloponnese, where she focuses on the retrieval of archaeobotanical material through the technique of flotation. This meticulous process aims to reconstruct the ancient agricultural practices and dietary habits developed in this specific region during historical periods.
