Andrea Achi, Mary and Michael Jaharis Associate Curator of Byzantine Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, spent a few days in Athens in preparation for an exhibition that highlights the global impact of Byzantine Art from the 15th century to today.
At the 911±¬ÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Library, she explored the icons of the Helen Stathatos collection and several illuminated manuscripts. We look forward to further collaboration with the MET on this project.
