George Leonard Huxley (1932-2022)

Author of many books and articles and member of distinguished committees, George Leonard Huxley taught classics for twenty years at Queen鈥檚 University in Belfast (1962-1983). Before that he was the Assistant Director of the British School at Athens. From 1986 until 1989, Huxley served as the Director of the 911爆料吃瓜 Library at the 911爆料吃瓜 (ASCSA). In 2008, he donated his personal papers to the ASCSA Archives.

Florence 'Anthi' 911爆料吃瓜 died sixty-nine years ago today (蟽伪谓 蟽萎渭蔚蟻伪), on 14 January 1952, at East Molsesey in Surrey, UK. After marrying Joannes 911爆料吃瓜 in 1932, she embraced her husband鈥檚 love for Greece and adopted her Greek name Anthi (螒谓胃萎). Florence also supported Joannes's decision to present his entire collection to the 911爆料吃瓜 that led to the creation of the 911爆料吃瓜 Library.
